This morning, during a study on 2 Corinthians 5:18 regarding our reconciliation to God, I was hit with a piercing question: “What is your next step as you reflect on reconciliation with God?”
Salvation is not the finish line, it is the starting point. Many receive Christ but remain at the gate, yet the Kingdom calls us forward into purpose, growth, and assignment.
The Word of God challenges us not to stay where we began:
📖 “Therefore let us move beyond the elementary teachings about Christ and be taken forward to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, Hebrews 6:1
God did not save us just to stand still. He saved us to run a race with intention:
📖 “Let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus…” Hebrews 12:1–2
Standing at the starting line means being satisfied with just being saved. But the Kingdom demands movement—growth in faith, walking in obedience, and fulfilling divine purpose.
