Devotional: "When the Doors Close, the Word Remains"
Scripture: “The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God stands forever.” — Isaiah 40:8 (NASB)
Bishop Dennis shares a heart-wrenching update: a congregation he knows well is closing its doors. It’s a shock that brings his previous teachings on “Succession” into sharp, painful focus. When a pastor goes home to be with the Lord and there is no plan, the enemy sees an opportunity to scatter the sheep.
But does a closed building mean God’s Word has failed? Absolutely not. If God prophesied miracles and moves of the Spirit within those walls, that Word is still looking for a place to land.
Bishop also reminds us of a vital lesson in humility: even when we have a “word” or an “anointing,” we must respect the authority God has established. We are called to be a blessing, not a source of division. Today, we pray for the scattered sheep and for the “avenue of escape” that God provides for His people.
Reflection: Are you standing on the circumstances you see, or the Word God has spoken? Pray for those facing the loss of their church home today, that they would not go shipwreck, but find the next step in their purpose.

Kingdom Decree: “The Word Shall Not Return Void”
“I decree that the Word of the Lord spoken over His people shall not fall to the ground.
Though doors may close and leaders may change, the King of kings remains on His throne. I reject the spirit of shipwreck and scatter; I declare that every displaced sheep shall find their place in the fold of God.
I honor the authority God has established and I refuse to be a voice of division. I stand in the gap for the broken-hearted and I declare that there is an avenue of victory! God’s will be done, His Kingdom come, and His glory be established in the midst of the shock.”
