Devotional: "The Purpose for Which He Was Sent"
Focus: Realigning our daily walk with Christ's primary mission.
Scripture: “But He said to them, ‘I must preach the kingdom of God to the other cities also, for I was sent for this purpose.’” — Luke 4:43 (NASB)
Have you ever wondered why Jesus came? We often focus on the miracles or the parables, but Jesus Himself said His purpose was to preach the Kingdom of God. Bishop Dennis Davis points out that we have replaced “Kingdom” with “Religion.” Religion is a man-made system of rules, but a Kingdom is a government.
When you seek the Kingdom, you aren’t seeking a Sunday service; you are seeking a King. You are seeking His Righteousness, Peace, and Joy. This is why the world often reacts negatively when you enter a room—you aren’t just bringing a “nice attitude”; you are bringing the Light of a foreign government into a kingdom of darkness.
Reflect: If Jesus’ purpose was to preach the Kingdom, is your purpose to seek it? Are you a student of the Government of God, or just a practitioner of a religion?
Prayer:Father, I thank You that Your Kingdom is at hand. I repent for seeking my own way instead of Your Government. Fill me with Your Righteousness, Peace, and Joy today. In the name of Jesus. Amen.

Kingdom Decree: “The Government is Here”
Focus: A bold declaration for our online church and social media.
“Jesus didn’t come to bring a religion; He came to establish a Government.
He was sent for one specific purpose: to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom. If we aren’t preaching the Kingdom, we aren’t preaching what He sent us to preach. The Kingdom isn’t a future hope; it is a present reality of Righteousness, Peace, and Joy.
The light has been turned on. The darkness may scatter, but the Kingdom of God remains. Seek the Kingdom First.”
