Devotional: "The God of Your Finish Line"
Scripture: “Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33 (NASB)
Bishop Dennis shares a mind-stretching truth: God didn’t create you and then “hope” you’d find a purpose. He saw the purpose first. He went to the end, saw exactly what was needed for the Kingdom, and then came back to the beginning to design you.
When our finite minds struggle to comprehend this, we must look to the Spirit. We often spend our lives seeking “the things”—provision, success, or comfort. But Jesus said there are only two things that qualify as priorities: His Kingdom and His Way of doing things (His righteousness).
When you make these two things your focus, you are finally in alignment with the reason you were created. You stop chasing the “additions” and start chasing the King.
Reflection: If God has already seen your “end,” why are you worried about your “now”? Take a moment today to stop seeking the “things” and start seeking the King.

“I decree that I am not an accident; I am a divine creation, designed from the end to the beginning.
I refuse to be distracted by the ‘things’ of this world. I set my focus on the two priorities of the King: His Kingdom and His Righteousness. I declare that Jesus is the Supreme Authority over my life, my time, and my heart.
Because He holds all things together, He is holding my purpose together. I will seek Him first, and I trust that everything I need shall be added unto me.”
