Devotional: "Do You Really Know the King?"
Scripture: “Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe;” — Hebrews 12:28 (NASB)
Bishop Dennis is sounding a trumpet for a new Reformation. He points out that most of us have lost the sense of “Protocol” when it comes to God. We treat the King of Kings like a peer or a token figurehead, forgetting that a King’s word is Law.
Through his own journey of deep, ongoing repentance, Bishop has realized that there are levels of revelation we haven’t even touched yet. It isn’t enough to just “go to church.” We are called to be the ekklesia—the governing body of Christ on earth. This requires a level of reverence and “Kingdom thinking” that challenges our modern, casual attitudes. It is time to stop “playing religion” and start representing the government of Heaven.
Reflection: Does the way you speak, act, and “attend” the assembly reflect the protocol of a King? Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal a deeper level of reverence in your heart today.

Kingdom Decree: “I Decree the Spirit of Reformation”
“I decree that Jesus Christ is the absolute Sovereign over my life and this earth!
I reject the spirit of casual religion and I embrace the protocol of the King of Kings. I declare that I am a member of the ekklesia—the governing body of Heaven. I repent of all lack of reverence, and I choose to walk in the ‘fear of the Lord,’ which is the beginning of wisdom.
I decree a reformation in my heart and in the body of Christ. We are returning to the original design! We are not just ‘church-goers’; we are Ambassadors of a Kingdom that cannot be shaken. I declare that the King’s decrees will be established on earth through us today!”
