Devotional: "Beyond the Miracles"
Focus: Seeking the heart and intent of the King
Scripture: “He made known His ways to Moses, His acts to the sons of Israel.” — Psalm 103:7 (NASB)
Bishop Dennis shares a profound distinction: the difference between knowing what God does and knowing who He is. The children of Israel were happy as long as the manna fell and the water flowed, but they didn’t know the heart of the One providing it. Moses, however, went up the mountain to learn the King’s ways.
In today’s “boundary-less” church, we often seek God’s acts—His healing, His provision, His “likes” on our lifestyle—without submitting to His ways. We want the benefits of the Kingdom without the government of the King.
But the King says, “Go and sin no more.” He provides the boundaries not to restrict our fun, but to protect our purpose. Are you following God for the “acts” He can perform for you, or are you seeking to know His “ways”?
Reflection: Does the Word of God ever challenge you? If it makes you uncomfortable, it’s often because it’s hitting a spot that isn’t yet plumb. Don’t stop talking to the King—start submitting to Him.

Kingdom Decree: “We Serve Another King”
Focus: A declaration of allegiance to the Heavenly Government.
We are not our own; we have been bought with a price.
We live in a world that hates boundaries, but we serve a King who defines our culture. Like the early disciples in Acts 17, we proclaim that there is ‘Another King’ named Jesus. He is not a figurehead; He is the Ruler of our hearts and the King of our lives.
We refuse the ‘cheap grace’ that ignores repentance. We choose to stand on the Chief Cornerstone and walk in the holiness that the Kingdom requires. We don’t just know His acts; we study His ways.
